Who We Are

Our movement is focused on fostering unity and collaboration across all segments of Israeli society. We aim to direct World Zionist Congress (WZC) projects towards promoting universal democratic principles of equality, mutual respect, and civic engagement as envisioned in Israel’s Declaration of Independence.

Though we operate independently of political parties, we maintain close dialogue with many democratic groups and parties, working towards building a broad coalition with a common goal. Our efforts represent a broad coalition united by shared values and a passion for a just and democratic Israel. Because of that approach we are the only organization representing all pro-democracy movements from Israel, with a clear commitment to safeguarding and strengthening the country’s liberal and democratic foundations.

 

We are unique in that our partners have mobilized people on the ground and maintained coordination with other democratic organizations. While other groups participating in these elections may focus on specific important political interests, our focus is on rationally allocating resources to ensure Israel remains a democratic, liberal, and just Jewish state that serves all its citizens.

OUR MOVEMENT

  • The AID Coalition is a coalition of organizations, Israeli and US, which the well being, sustainability, democratic, Jewish, liberal values of Israel are paramount to their mission;

  • The AID Coalition consists of those who worked tirelessly around the clock supporting the needs of Israel and Israelis during those first few months of Iron Swords;

  • The AID Coalition consists of those who went out to the streets fighting for the democratic values of Israel;

  • The AID Coalition consists of Israeli expats and others who reside in the United States, yet have a special place in their hearts for Israel and Israelis;

  • The AID Coalition delegates is a group of nearly 200 delegates from all walks of life, including Tech executives; business and community leaders; public and social activists; students; young professionals

  • The AID Coalition are those who aim to ensure that Israel’s scarce resources are applied towards supporting a democratic, inclusive, and strong Israel, one that reflects the values of the Jewish people worldwide;

  • The AID Coalition are those who live in the U.S. but who look at Israel, and call it home;

  • The AID Coalition are those who call Israelis “my family.”
